- When she cries, she actually says "wah!" Imagine Tessa's bark sounding like "woof!" It's so funny that it has really helped save us from the frantic why-is-she-crying that so many new parents go through.
- She can be red in the face screaming mad and as soon as you pick her up she stops crying, like turning off a faucet.
- Right before she wakes up after a night's sleep she spends 10-30 minutes stretching, grunting, and lifting up both legs (which, wrapped up in the sleep sack/swaddling blankets makes her look like a caterpillar).
- When we go to get her from her crib in the morning she looks up at us and smiles. She is happy to see us, and that smile starts the day off right no matter how tired we are. The look on her face is something like, "Oh hello! Imagine running into each other like this! How wonderful to see you! Want to go for breakfast?"
What I love about Betty is how these lovely little updates brighten my day. I usually check-in in the evening when I'm tired and worn out. Many thanks to you both for sharing your little bit of sunshine!
