Don't Believe Everything You Read

Today Betty is six months old!

I get these automatic emails from Babycenter that tell me what milestones my baby will be reaching. Today's email said: "Once your baby can sit up, it's only a matter of time, strength, and coordination before that translates to a lunge forward onto hands and knees [...] most take off between 7 and 9 months." Betty crawled across the floor to Daddy's laptop and typed the following scathing rebuttal: "0’P???????’ vb ds t nrtn f cfx xdz saΩΩß≈ bjnyjmf dcx." Already she seems to have mastered the use of the rhetorical question. And irony.

Oh, and don't let the pic fool you. She hates sweet potatos too.

  1. I still get those emails from BabyCenter and Chase is five. I don't really read them anymore. He was generally ahead of the curve too, just enough to reassure me. Unfortunately, BabyCenter was suspiciously silent on the topic of Toddlers Who Could Be Mistaken for Tazmanian Devils, but the ADHD websites were kind enough to fill us in. That last bit was off-topic. =)
