Betty and I celebrated Verna's successful defense by trying not to skid all over the roadways and then hunkering down as the power failed. Good times I suppose, but we're happy to be safe and snug at home. Now if only Mommy were here too...Here's Betty yesterday afternoon figuring the ice-to-rain ratio of the ubiquitous Virginian "wintery mix."
In unrelated news, Betty is eight months old today! We're celebrating by enjoying the fact that the power is back and we have running water.
