Tiny Dancer

I was in civilization today, running house errands, and I popped into Babies R Us to get Betty something fabulous to wear for her 1-year portrait/birthday party. Specifically, I wanted to get Betty a pink tutu. Why? Probably because I've read too many parenting magazines and mommy blogs, but mainly because Betty is a girl born to wear a pink tutu. I suppose it makes sense, though I found it terribly disappointing, that the 1-year-old birthday party outfits do not come in 9-month-old sizes.

But don't worry--blatant size-ism will not come between this birthday girl and her tutu. It will just require a little creativity on my part.
