Well, that didn't take long. Yesterday Betty said her first word. Today she talked back. The little angel you see here is turning into a toddler right before my very eyes. She was chewing on the leg of my cast iron bed frame and I said, "No..." and made my stern face. She grinned at me, and, clear as day, said, "YES!"
Oh lord. Karma is a bi---...oh wait, I was going to stop cussing.
