Good Eats

Mealtime with Betty is often kind of disgusting. She still has a lingering cough, and if she coughs too hard she throws up. She also has an easy gag reflex and if we feed her something she doesn't like, she hurls it back at us. She prefers pureed food or finger food; anything in between--a puree with chunks (i.e. stage 3 foods)--and she redecorates the high chair.

On top of all that--babyfood just looks gross even before it has made its first trip down the hatch. Here she is with black beans, apples, and cottage cheese. It wasn't all mixed together when we started the meal.

I couldn't decide what historical figure she looks like here with her black bean beard and perturbed expression...then it hit me. She looks like Steele on the weekend!
