Through White and Drifting Snow

Betty did some more visiting today, despite the lake effect snow. It has not stopped snowing since we arrived on New Year's Eve. It's so beautiful and delicate--each flake sparkles and floats, and yet there's so much of it swirling around in all directions. I feel like I'm living in a snow globe. Steele's dad said something about calling someone to shovel the roof. The heck? Anyway, here's Betty with her Great Grandma and Grandpa J. They had a good time playing with measuring spoons. Betty was then going to go visit Aunt Beck (hi Aunt Beck!), but the roads were too bad to make the trip, even with all the plowing and salting. I'm telling you, this snow is bizarre in its unrelenting persistence.
